I have a SMART Board. Now what?

  • Think of the SMART Board as a giant mouse pad. It can be used with any program.
  • One does not have to be connected to a SMARTBoard to project on it. For it to be interactive and respond to touch, it must be connected to your computer.
  • Notebook Software is the program that SMART created. You can use other programs with the board.
  • Notebook Software is similar to PowerPoint.

Getting connected:
1. Connect the projector to your computer.
2. Connect the SMART Board using the USB.
3. Orient your board.
